Pacquiao versus Hatton, Battle of the East and West!

Manny pacman Paquiao, won! Go Philippines. After the 1st 2 KO punches at the 1st round, Manny finishes it in the second round with a head blowing punch right in to the jaw with a striking punch that let Hatton down for the third time.

Before the fight - Pacquiao Prayed [like he usually do in all the fights he have!].

1st round - it was all clenching for Hatton and even got a violation for hitting Pacquiao right into the back of Manny’s head. It made Pacquiao mad and got hot and over punches Hatton with the right jab and some combination, then with the left.[KO]

Pacman KO punch

2nd round - Pacquiao put an end with the left blow, which I personally call the THE DRAGON PACMAN BLOW!..

Mabuhay ang mga Pilipino! Pacquiao Mabuhay ka!

The Hitman, who was only beaten by the undefeated champ. The Pacman, who proved himself as pound for pound boxer. Who will win this battle? These two are two of the most exciting boxers in the world and the whole world can’t wait, but the date is set, and the boxers are ready.

Whatever will be the verdict, I know this two boxers will give their all. They had their own success and stories of defeat. It is a battle from the East and West. Que Sera Sera! Whatever will be, will be!

I say good luck to both boxers. Especially to Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. Here are some stats I found over the internet.

Tabsofficial Who won? | Pacquiao versus De la Hoya

December 8, 2008 | Posted in News and Current Events | Comments (2)
Incredible! Pacquiao won over Dela Hoya in the 8th match. Another huge success for the Filipinos. Beating the Golden Boy, killing the rivalry between Mexican-Filipino matches. Great honor, Pacman made us proud to be a Filipino of which honor he brought us. Darn, Pacquiao is so Good. Watchout for more updates.

Pacquiao proved himself again, making Dela Hoya suffer and most likely quit. Oh my goodness Pacquiao became one of the best fighters in the world, credit as to be a Filipino we should be proud and honored. We should thank God, and continue supporting our athletes not only Pacman because of his popularity but also others who wanted to be supported.

I believe Manny Pacquiao shared all his fights to the Filipino people. He became our pride, fighting over the boxing ring. Getting hit by strong punches but he learned to fight back. Manny is great, giving all his shot in every fight he is making. We should be proud of him. Also we should not forget the other athletes we have here in the Philippines.

Manny had his fare share of losing too. He was knocked out, overpowered. But look where he is now. He became one of the exciting boxing player in the world. Those punches made him strong, he fought back and stand up. That made Pacman’s Legacy.

In his recent fight with Juan Mannuel Marquez, they are both strong. But Manny reigned, won with a unanimous decision. Some had opinions that Manny lost the fight. But for me when he got their in the ring and fought to make the Filipino’s proud and Happy. He is already a winner! And we, should be proud of that.

Tabsofficial Paquiao Versus Marquez - Rebattle alert

March 15, 2008 | Posted in News and Current Events | Comments (4)

Las Vegas, Nevada — Today, at the Mandalay Bay Resort Casino, the site for tomorrow’s blockbuster fight, the official weigh-in for all the boxers involved in the card was held free for the public to witness.

The headliners for the said fight card, WBC Super featherweight champion, Juan Manuel Marquez and challenger, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao easily made weight.

Marquez tipped the scales at 130 pounds while Pacquiao was a sizzling 129 pounder.

The other fighters on the card made weight as well except for Diosdado Gabi. Gabi, in spite of being stripped bare, was still 119.5 lbs. He was given an hour to come back and try again. Rumors had it that Gabi was 6 pounds over the limit as late as yesterday. Why? Your answer is as good as mine! Personally, I strongly feel there was no reason why Gabi could not make weight unless someone is negligent in keeping track of it!

Terdsak Jaendang hit the scales at 126 while his opponent, Steven Luevano did the same. (126lbs)

David Diaz and Ramon Montano did not have problem making weigh either. They both tip the scales at 1365

With Pacquiao easily hitting the contractual weight limit without a problem, a victory of sort was immediately declared by his supporters.

At his last fight (with Barrera) Pacquiao allegedly had “weight problems” and had trouble making the limit. That issue, plus the fact that he did not train as much and as well as he did for this fight with Marquez resulted in a lackluster fight. The fact that Barrera refused to mix it up with Pacquiao did not help either.

Today, with Pacquiao easily hitting 1129 lbs, his Team and his supporters are beaming with confidence. They feel that Pacquiao without any doubt, is in the best shape of his life. And, a Pacquiao in such condition would be very difficult to beat.

The supporters of Marquez on the other hand, are just as jubilant. And, they are awfully loud in supporting their man. They easily drown out the loudest cheer the Pacquiao supporters can muster.

The fan support and the noise they created at the weigh-in is a measure of how things will be tomorrow:- VERY LOUD! Hopefully, they will be as loud as the Brits who flooded this town when Ricky Hatton fought Pretty Boy Floyd a few months ago. With that it should be a more exciting event.

After the weigh-in, Pacquiao immediately went back to his suite to slowly re-hydrate and eat. A sumptuous lunch prepared by his staff was waiting at the dinner table.

The rest of the day, Pacquiao is expected to just relax and meet with friends and supporters who endlessly flock to his suite. At 9:00 PM it will be lights out and the suite will be cleared with only essential personnel allowed to stay.
