Hi folks this time we will be learning all about the difference of SATA and PATA. Well friends lets find out. Serial Advanced Technology Attachment or SATA is mainly a computer bus which is primarily designed for transfer. It was only based in or interact between mass storage and data or information. Its advatage is held over the parallel ATA interface which mean data transfer is more accesible, with thinner cable and more reliable operation in terms of tighter check. SATA offers performance as high as 3.0 Gbit/sec per device with the current specification. SATA uses only 4 signal lines, allowing for much more compact and less expensive cables compared with PATA.

While friends, PATA or Parallel Advanced Technology Attachment which allow cable lengths up to only 18 inches only which means it only give you for about 46 centimeters, though cables up to 36 inches can be purchased as items in different stores. Length limit, perhaps the reason why its technology normally appears as an internal computer storage interface. It based on improving the most common and the least expensive interface for an application.
I hope you’ve learned something, but still guys search for other entries about this I might rumbled things up. That’s for now.
